This Week's Message

Watch the sermon from this Sunday👇

THE FOG IS ROLLING IN! | Lynn Wheeler | Daniel 1, 2, & 6

🔥 THE FOG IS ROLLING IN! GOD'S FAVOR IS COMING YOUR WAY!

What if your best days aren't behind you—but are still ahead of you? What if God is preparing to open doors, create divine connections, and release a new level of favor over your life?

God's favor is more than luck or coincidence. It's His supernatural ability to position you, promote you, and protect you!

In this powerful message, Evangelist Lynn Wheeler brings an encouraging word from the book of Daniel that will challenge your faith, strengthen your expectation, and remind you that God is still working behind the scenes on your behalf.

📖 IN THIS MESSAGE: THE FOG IS ROLLING IN

Drawing from Daniel chapters 1, 2, and 6, discover three powerful ways the favor of God works in our lives:

✨ 1. FAVOR POSITIONS US – God can open doors and create divine connections that place us exactly where He wants us to be.

🙌 2. FAVOR PROMOTES US – God can elevate you beyond what your own abilities could accomplish.

🛡️ 3. FAVOR PROTECTS US – Even when opposition comes, God is able to shut the mouths of the lions and preserve what He has called you to do.

From unexpected opportunities to divine appointments, from personal breakthroughs to the growth of the local church, this message reminds us that God's favor is still at work!

🔥 WHY WATCH THIS MESSAGE NOW?

Whether you're believing God for a breakthrough, praying for your family, seeking new opportunities, or simply needing renewed hope, this message will encourage you to expect more from God.

Your best days are ahead! It's time to walk in faith, recognize divine connections, rejoice in the blessings of others, and believe God for a new level of favor.

The fog is rolling in at Commission Church!

❤️ WELCOME TO COMMISSION CHURCH!

KC DAY of HOPE Testimony
KC Day of Hope 2026: Hope in the Heart of Kansas City Summary: ❤️ 700 people were served at the 2026 KC Day of Hope. 🙌 250 volunteers and 20 church and community partners came together to serve Kansas City. 🌎 Your giving helped make it possible. Commission Church financially sponsored the outreach through Engage Network Ministries. What happens when churches and community partners come together with one goal: to love our city and share the hope of Jesus? This year's KC Day of Hope at Central Park gave us a glimpse. On September 19th, 2026, hundreds of people gathered at Central Park for a day of serving families, meeting practical needs, building relationships, praying together, and sharing the Gospel. And this year, attendance doubled from 2025! Look What Happened! The numbers tell an incredible story of what can happen when the Church works together. 700+ people served 37,000 pounds of food distributed Dozens of people were prayed for in the name of JESUS 250 volunteers 20 church and community partners And throughout the day, families also had access to a community resource fair, free haircuts, inflatables, prayer, and Gospel conversations. Behind every one of those numbers is a person, a family, a conversation, and an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Jesus. Giving away food and providing community resources matters. But the Day of Hope is about more than what someone takes home at the end of the day. It's about creating opportunities for the local Church to be present in our community. Throughout the event, volunteers had opportunities to pray with people and have Gospel conversations alongside meeting tangible needs. That's the kind of impact we want Commission Church to continue being part of. Your Giving Helped Make This Possible Commission Church, thank you for giving. Because of your faithful generosity to our church, we were able to financially support Engage Network Ministries and help sponsor this year's KC Day of Hope. When you give to Commission Church, you're helping us do more than keep the lights on or fund what happens inside our building. Your generosity allows us to partner with ministries doing Gospel-centered work throughout our city and beyond. Mass outreaches like the Day of Hope simply aren't possible without people faithfully giving. You gave. Our church was able to give. And together with churches, organizations, and hundreds of volunteers across Kansas City, 700 people were served. Thank you for giving! We're Already Looking Forward to 2027 This year's Day of Hope doubled its attendance from 2025, and we're excited about what God could do next. We're already looking forward to next year's KC Day of Hope, and we're praying that Commission Church can play an even greater role in serving, giving, volunteering, praying, and sharing Jesus with our city. This is what it looks like to impact our world, right here in Kansas City. Thank you to everyone who gave, served, prayed, and helped make the 2026 KC Day of Hope possible.

Ministry and cross cultural living requires a lot of adaptability! Last week I flew to the coast to learn and help teach kids in school on sexual abuse awareness with my dear friend Rachel, who serves with ProtectMe Project. But due to paramilitary activity schools closed for a few days. So we did some virtual teachings with parents, time was spent with ministry friends in the house and many schools were interested in having more presentations done at their schools in the future. Overall it was a win! But in a way none of us expected...sometimes things don't go how we plan or end how we think so it can be easy to overlook what God is doing. May we always ask, Lord show me where you're at in this moment and situation. Help me see what you see.
