Youth Alive exists to change that.

Brad Keller serves as OUR Missouri's Youth Alive missionary, equipping students, churches, and schools to share the gospel on campus through student-led ministries, evangelism, and discipleship.

Brad’s truck has over 200,000 miles on it and is beginning to show signs of retirement. We are raising money so that when the time comes, STL can purchase him a new one!

Meet Brad Keller

Brad is the Youth Alive missionary for Missouri. If you haven’t met him, you’ve most likely heard him, “GLORY!”

His heart is for student discipleship and campus missions. Through his partnership with the local church, he has helped start a movement to raise up thousands of student missionaries around Missouri.

He loves working alongside Pastors and Youth Pastors and is here to help your church reach your public school.

All the things you need to know for the fall semester at Commission Youth. Youth Royals game
⚾ Take Me Out to the Ball Game! Commission Youth is headed to The K! On Wednesday, September 23, instead of our regular Wednesday night youth service, we’re going to watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Chicago White Sox! 🎟️ Tickets We have 12 free tickets available for Commission Youth students. Tickets will be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up as soon as possible if you want to join us![CLAIM YOUR TICKET] Once all 12 tickets have been claimed, students are still welcome to attend by purchasing their own ticket. However, we cannot guarantee that additional tickets will be located near our group. 🚗 Getting to The K We will carpool together from Commission Church. Meet at: Commission Church Departure: 6:00 PM SHARP Please arrive early enough to get checked in and ready to leave. Our vehicles will leave promptly at 6:00 PM. 🍔 Food Please eat dinner before you arrive or bring money to purchase food and drinks at the stadium. Food is not included with your ticket. 🚙 Returning Home We will return to Commission Church after the game. Join us for a fall Commission Youth Bonfire on Wednesday, October 14th. We'll spend the evening gathered around the bonfire with friends, great conversations, and our regular Commission Youth service. Whether you've been coming to youth for years or this is your first Wednesday, this is a great night to invite a friend and experience what Commission Youth is all about. We'll provide the hot dogs and s'mores. You just bring yourself, a friend, and a hoodie! What to Expect: A bonfire with friends Hot dogs and s'mores Games and conversation A message centered on Jesus changing our unstable lives A relaxed, fall atmosphere Parents Students will meet outside for most of the evening, so please encourage them to dress for the weather. Register and submit payment by November 1 to avoid the $25 late fee. First-time Convention guests attend for half price ($60). Departure is Friday at 2:00 p.m. sharp from Commission Church. Sign up for text updates and complete all parent checklist items before departure: register, pay, submit your waiver, and pack according to the list above. He has witnessed moments of revival within youth ministry and on the campus, but is believing for the fullness of it across North Texas. He is a campus missionary to sports teams, lunch rooms, and has helped plant Bible clubs in one of the largest high schools in America. Through his ministry, Jackson has seen unchurched students saved, baptized, and healed! Our schools are the spiritual battleground of the nation, “If we lose there, we lose everywhere else.” His desire is to train, develop, and send out youth pastors who’s hearts would be broken for the campus, so revival would invade schools in every community through the church! FAQ: Can my student invite a friend? Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Students attending Convention for the first time receive 50% off registration, making the cost just $60. What if my family can't afford Convention? We never want finances to keep a student from encountering God. Scholarship assistance is available. Complete the Scholarship Application linked above, and we'll work with you to make sure your student can attend. When is payment due? Convention payment is due by November 1. Beginning November 2, a $25 late fee will be added. Where do we meet for departure? Meet at Commission Church on Friday, November 20. 2026-2027 KIDS BGMC GivingGive to BGMC TLDR BGMC helps kids participate in missions by giving to help missionaries and ministries share Jesus and meet needs around the world. Our goal isn’t only to raise money. We want to help our kids develop a lifelong heart for generosity, missions, and reaching people with the Gospel. Kids can bring their BGMC offering to Commission Kids or families can give online using the Give to BGMC button below. Why We’re Giving We believe kids don’t have to wait until they’re adults to participate in the mission of God. Through BGMC, our Commission Kids get an opportunity to pray, give, learn about missionaries, and discover what God is doing around the world. A few dollars may not seem like much, but when kids from churches across the country give together, their generosity can make an incredible impact. More importantly, we’re helping our kids learn something that can shape the rest of their lives: God can use what I have to help someone else know Jesus. What Is BGMC? BGMC stands for Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge and is the missions giving program for kids in the Assemblies of God. BGMC helps provide missionaries and ministries with the resources they need to share the Gospel and meet practical needs around the world. Through BGMC, kids aren’t simply learning about missions. Prayer Service and Youth Time Change
TLDR Commission Youth and our Midweek Prayer Gathering now both meet starting at 6:30pm. We’re moving to a later time to better serve working individuals, families, and parents dropping off students for youth. Our prayer gathering is becoming a more structured and interactive experience with guided prayer, worship, and community connection. Midweek Is Changing at Commission Church Starting next Wednesday, both Commission Youth and our Midweek Prayer Gathering will meet from 6:30. For a while now, we’ve recognized that our previous 5:30pm start time created challenges for many families and working individuals trying to get across the city after work, school, practices, and dinner. We want midweek ministry to be accessible, life-giving, and realistic for the people we’re trying to serve. This adjustment creates space for more people to participate in both youth ministry and prayer together. A Better Rhythm for Families Commission Youth will continue meeting every Wednesday night, but now with an earlier start time. At the same time, we are intentionally relaunching and reshaping our Midweek Prayer Gathering into a more structured and meaningful experience. For many parents, Wednesday nights often become a drop-off and pick-up routine or a waiting period filled with unstructured dead time. We want to create an opportunity for those moments to become spiritually meaningful, too. Instead of simply waiting, parents and adults can now gather together for prayer, connection, worship, and encouragement while students are in youth service. Why Prayer Matters + A Real Story One of the things we love about prayer gatherings is how they connect real life to real faith. Alison S. is a great example of this. Many times, she has come into prayer carrying burdens from conversations she had with coworkers earlier that same day. Her coworkers know she belongs to a praying community. They know there are people who will stand with them in prayer. Many times a month, she comes with their requests because she has built a reputation for caring for her co-workers. That’s the kind of culture we want to continue building at Commission Church. A place where people know they are not alone. A place where burdens are shared. A place where faith becomes active in everyday life. What to Expect Our new Midweek Prayer Gathering will include rotating practices: Guided prayer moments Small group prayer opportunities Worshipful prayer environments Intentional time praying for needs in our congregation, city, schools, workplaces, and families Space to connect relationally with others Whether you feel confident praying out loud or you are brand new to prayer gatherings, this environment is for you. Please use the bathroom prior to leaving your house, so we don't have to stop at a gas station prior to our lunch stop in Sedalia Time: 9:00am sharp Waiver: All parents and guardians must sign a release waiver prior to departure. Make sure to check the packing list and pack one bag! Make sure to review Medicine if you need to bring meds to camp! We will eat lunch in Sedalia, MO. COST $275 per student. Students will not need cash for these meals since they are included in the registration price. CAMP DRESS CODE This is set by the campground. Clothing must be modest and appropriate. The chest and stomach must be covered. Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be at least a 4-inch inseam or equivalent. Modest swimwear is required. Clothing should be suitable for physical activity. CAMP RULES Campers must follow the dress code at all times. Attendance at all camp activities is required unless permission is granted otherwise. Campers may not leave campgrounds without permission. Tobacco, drugs, and alcohol are forbidden. Cell phones, firearms, knives, fireworks, and communication devices are not allowed. Camp reserves the right to inspect personal belongings. Campers may not enter dorms other than their assigned dorm. Certain camp areas are off limits unless involved in approved activities. Expressions of affection are limited to holding hands. Campers are expected to help with assigned duties. Rooms and surrounding grounds must be kept clean daily.
