1901 NW Blue Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO 64065 Asphalt is being laid for our church's driveway on the Monday of departure, so we are meeting at Unity Village to depart. Sorry for the complication. Please use the bathroom prior to leaving your house, so we don't have to stop at a gas station prior to our lunch stop in Sedalia Time: 9:00am sharp Waiver: All parents and guardians must sign a release waiver prior to departure. Make sure to check the packing list and pack one bag! Make sure to review Medicine if you need to bring meds to camp! We will eat lunch in Sedalia, MO. COST $275 per student. Pay online by clicking the green button above, or pay in cash or by check on Sundays. Please have camp payments submitted by June 7. $25 Late fee will be added to the price on the 8th. Text “youthcamp26” to 833-270-5922 Daily photos will be posted on Facebook: facebook.com/commissionchurchkc MEDICINE ALL personal medications (including vitamins, herbs, essential oils, enzymes, and other supplements), either prescription or over-the-counter, MUST come in the original packaging and/or include a doctor’s note with dosage information (if needed). All medications must be brought to the first aid station at check-in for administration to the participant. NO pill organizers or planners are allowed. Please place medications in a clear Ziplock bag with all medicines in their original containers. Give all medications to Ps. Abram, before departure from Commission Church. Phones Phones will be left at home or at the church. Prior to departure, all students will turn over all electronic equipment, including phones, tablets, smart watches, and other electronic devices. Liability waivers must be signed prior to departure. WHAT TO BRING Physical Bible (Required) Journal and pen ONE suitcase or duffle bag per camper One small backpack, drawstring bag, or fanny pack Sleeping bag or bedding for a twin-size bed 1 pillow Appropriate daytime clothing Appropriate nighttime service clothing Tennis shoes Swimwear Church clothes 1 shower towel 1 pool towel Personal hygiene items Deodorant Toothpaste and toothbrush Soap/shampoo Feminine hygiene products Spending money Snacks (must fit in luggage) SERVICE DRESS EXPECTATIONS Clothes for church services at night must be modest and not provocative. No cut shirts for men or women Shorts are acceptable Dresses and skirts must not be see-through or revealing Graphic T-shirts must not be vulgar, unsightly, or suggestive Tank tops are discouraged for services THEME NIGHTS Monday: Senior Citizen Night Tuesday: Neon Night Wednesday: Jersey Night Thursday: Youth Pastor Night Theme nights are optional and not mandatory. LUNCH INFORMATION Part of the registration price includes lunch on both Monday and Friday. Lunches will be in Sedalia, Missouri. Each student will have a budget at the restaurant where we stop. Students will not need cash for these meals since they are included in the registration price. CAMP DRESS CODE This is set by the campground. Clothing must be modest and appropriate. The chest and stomach must be covered. Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be at least a 4-inch inseam or equivalent. Modest swimwear is required. Clothing should be suitable for physical activity. CAMP RULES Campers must follow the dress code at all times. Attendance at all camp activities is required unless permission is granted otherwise. Campers may not leave campgrounds without permission. Tobacco, drugs, and alcohol are forbidden. Cell phones, firearms, knives, fireworks, and communication devices are not allowed. Camp reserves the right to inspect personal belongings. Campers may not enter dorms other than their assigned dorm. Certain camp areas are off limits unless involved in approved activities. Expressions of affection are limited to holding hands. Campers are expected to help with assigned duties. Rooms and surrounding grounds must be kept clean daily.
